D3football.com Selects 12 MIAA Student-Athletes to All-North Region Teams

Nine Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association football players were selected to D3football.com's All-North Region teams, the online publication announced this week. 

Trine's trio of Lamar Carswell (Sr., RB, Toledo, Ohio), Jeffery Barnett (Sr., KR, Fremont, Ohio), and Marcus Winters (Sr., CB, Toledo, Ohio) represented the MIAA on the first team following the Thunder's MIAA Championship season. Also garnering accolades from Trine was Andrew Hagar (Sr., T, Millersburg, Ind.), who was named to the second team.

Joining Hagar on the second team were MIAA student-athletes Andrew Fabry (Sr., K, Grosse Pointe, Mich.) of Albion and Olivet's Trenton Monroe (Sr., G, Plainwell, Mich.).

MIAA selections to D3football.com's All-North Region Third Team were Hope's Zach Smith (Jr., C, Suttons Bay, Mich.) and Ian Gorgenson (Sr., DT, Grand Ledge, Mich.) along with Albion's Brian Blanzy (Sr., TE, Grosse Pointe, Mich.).
