Calvin Secures Fifth Consecutive MIAA Women’s Soccer Championship

Calvin University’s women’s soccer team capped off an impressive season by winning their fifth-straight Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship title.

The Knights finished the regular-season with an unblemished record of 8-0 to claim their sixteenth MIAA crown in program history.

The team’s defensive strength and offensive precision were evident throughout the season, with standout performances from several key players. In conference play alone, senior goalkeeper Kalex Dodge led the conference with an .885 save percentage and seven shutouts. Graduate student forward Sophie Mueller and junior midfielder Mia Judd both led Calvin with eight goals each, while junior midfielder Elie Farrell led the league with nine assists.

With Calvin as the top seed, six of the league's programs will now turn their attention to the upcoming MIAA Women’s Soccer Tournament, where they aim to lock in the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The official bracket will be released on Thursday, October 31, at 10:00 a.m.
