FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- At the conclusion of the 2025 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) men's lacrosse regular season, head coaches from the MIAA's seven member institutions that sponsor men's lacrosse voted on the All-MIAA awards.
Adrian College senior attacker Michael Jonas was named the 2025 MIAA Offensive Player of the Year after helping the Bulldogs to a 5-1 record in league play. Jonas led the conference with 21 goals, 17 assists, and 38 points during league competition. He is now a three-time All-MIAA honoree and was selected twice as the MIAA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week this season.
Senior defender Cameron Reed, also from Adrian, was voted the 2025 MIAA Defensive Player of the Year. Reed ranked among the conference’s top five with 38 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers. This season, he became a four-time All-MIAA honoree and was recognized as the MIAA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week on March 10.
Albion College freshman midfielder Luke Schuemann earned 2025 MIAA Rookie of the Year honors after contributing to a 4-2 league record for the Britons. Schuemann finished his first MIAA season with nine goals, eight assists, and 17 points, and was named to the All-MIAA Second Team.
Adrian’s Cameron Reed and Sam Spangler were recognized as four-time All-MIAA honorees this season. Additionally, six players earned their third All-MIAA recognition: Adrian’s Michael Jonas, Albion’s Cal Stearns, Calvin University’s Thomas Smith, Hope College’s Caden Brainard and Luke Wierengo, and Kalamazoo College’s Jack Bungart. Additionally, eight players are now two-time All-MIAA selections: Adrian's Brandon Hoerauf and Alec Winegar; Albion's Logan Bride; and Hope's Jack Balmforth, Sam Bowen, Jackson Early, John Foster, Gibson Heethuis, and Owen Mueller.
