Keagan Pieri Named MIAA Women’s Lacrosse Coach of the Year After Leading Dutch to Three-Peat

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- Hope College head coach Keagan Pieri has been named the 2025 MIAA Women’s Lacrosse Coach of the Year after guiding the Flying Dutch to a third-consecutive sweep of the conference’s regular-season and tournament titles.

In her sixth season at the helm, Pieri led Hope to a perfect 7-0 record in league play, earning the program its third-straight MIAA regular-season championship. The Flying Dutch added their third-straight MIAA Tournament title as well, claiming the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Hope wrapped up its 2025 campaign with an overall record of 13-6 following a hard-fought first-round matchup against Wooster in the national tournament.

Pieri’s impact on the program was further evident in individual accolades. Six players earned spots on the All-MIAA First Team, including three-time selections Julia Brown, Caroline Curnutt, Juli Kirkpatrick, and Caleigh Randall. Two additional Flying Dutch were named to the All-MIAA Second Team.

"I am honored, but our success would not happen if I weren't surrounded by an amazing staff (assistant coach Rich Pruszynski and head athletic trainer Tim Koberna) and didn’t have a team full of incredible student-athletes. They are fantastic humans who work hard every day,” Pieri said.

The 2025 season further solidifies Pieri’s reputation as one of the premier coaches in the league, building a consistent culture of success and high-level performance for Hope women’s lacrosse.
