Two Hope Women's Lacrosse Teammates Claim All-Region Honors 5/21/2025 10:30:00 AM Share: -- Story provided by Hope College Athletics -- Hope College women's lacrosse teammates Julia Brown and Caleigh Randall have been named to the 2025 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Region Teams. Brown (Grand Rapids, Michigan / Forest Hills Central HS) is a first-team attacker in the Great Lakes Region. Randall (Lansing, Michigan / DeWitt) is a second-team midfielder. The two juniors helped the Flying Dutch sweep MIAA regular-season and tournament titles for an unprecedented third time. Hope also became the first MIAA team to win three consecutive regular-season championships. Brown repeated as an IWLCA All-Region First Team selection after scoring a school-record 74 goals this season. The sociology major (criminal justice and psychology) was a second-team honoree as a freshman. This season, Brown finished with career-bests with 93 points and 13 up goals. Brown also collected 19 assists, 25 ground balls and seven caused turnovers while earning All-MIAA First Team distinction for the third time. Randall earned all-region accolades for the first time. The elementary education major registered career-highs this season in goals (36), points (47) and shots (88). Randall also contributed 114 draw controls, 27 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers while earning All-MIAA First Team honors for the second time.
