Hope Women’s Tennis Captures 13th-Straight MIAA Tournament Title

HOLLAND, Mich. -- The tradition of excellence continued for Hope College women’s tennis as the top-seeded Flying Dutch clinched their 13th-consecutive MIAA Tournament championship with a 4-1 victory over Kalamazoo College in the 2025 final. With the win, Hope (18-6 overall) earned the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament and claimed its 21st tournament title in program history.

Hope opened tournament play with a commanding 4-1 semifinal win over Calvin University, setting the tone for a focused and confident championship run. In the final, the Flying Dutch again delivered in high-pressure moments, locking in another 4-1 decision to down a resilient Kalamazoo squad.

Guided by experienced leadership and a deep, balanced lineup, the Flying Dutch extended their remarkable conference dominance. With the NCAA Tournament on the horizon, Hope turns its attention to the national stage, poised to carry its momentum and championship pedigree into postseason play.
