Excellence in Every Stride: MIAA Women’s Cross Country Earns USTFCCCA Academic Honors

NEW ORLEANS, La. -- The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) was prominently represented among the 2025 NCAA Division III Women’s Cross Country All-Academic selections, as 21 student-athletes earned individual honors and seven league programs were recognized as All-Academic Teams by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Individual All-Academic Athletes

To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top 25 percent of their respective NCAA regional championship meet.

The following MIAA women’s cross country student-athletes earned All-Academic honors for the 2025 season:

All-Academic Teams

USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors are awarded to programs that post a cumulative team GPA of 3.10 or higher on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifying criteria.

Seven MIAA women’s cross country programs earned All-Academic Team recognition for the 2025 season:

  • Calvin University – 3.83

  • Hope College – 3.68

  • Kalamazoo College – 3.59

  • The University of Olivet – 3.74

  • Saint Mary's College – 3.83

  • Trine University – 3.74
