MIAA Student-Athletes Earn All-America Honors at NCAA DIII Men's Indoor Track and Field Championships

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) was well represented at the 2025 NCAA Division III Men’s Indoor Track and Field Championships, held March 14-15 at the Golisano Training Center in Rochester, New York. Several student-athletes delivered standout performances, earning All-America honors on the national stage.

Hope College’s Liam Danitz led the way with a First Team All-America performance in the 200-meter dash, securing fifth place with a time of 21.93. The University of Olivet’s DeVondre Chandler also earned First Team All-America honors, finishing seventh in the high jump with a mark of 2.05m.

Albion College’s Will Davis demonstrated his speed in the 60-meter dash, finishing 11th with a time of 6.79 to claim Second Team All-America recognition. Davis also competed in the 200-meter dash, placing 17th with a time of 22.22 seconds.

Olivet’s Owen Fremeau earned Second Team All-America honors in the shot put, finishing 14th with a throw of 16.34m. Calvin University’s Luke Witvliet also secured Second Team All-America recognition in the 5000-meter run, crossing the finish line in 10th place with a time of 14:23.30.
