AUSTIN, Tex. -- The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) is proud to recognize its three student-athletes named to the 2025 CSC Academic All-America® Football Teams, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
The 2025 Academic All-America® Football Teams showcase the nation’s elite student-athletes for excellence both academically and athletically. The 25-man Division III First Team posted an impressive average GPA of 3.85, while the full 51-man Academic All-America® DIII roster combined for a 3.82 cumulative GPA. Seven honorees across the Division III teams earned a perfect 4.00 GPA in their undergraduate or graduate studies.
Alma College senior offensive lineman Owen Denk earned First Team Academic All-America® recognition. A biochemistry major with a perfect 4.00 GPA, Denk exemplifies academic excellence while anchoring the Scots’ offensive line, earning national recognition as one of the top scholar-athletes in collegiate football.
Adrian College junior defensive back Ethan Burrows was also named to the First Team Academic All-America®. A criminal justice major with a 3.92 GPA, Burrows adds to his growing list of academic accolades after previously earning Academic All-America® First Team honors at the NAIA level in 2024. On the field, Burrows led NCAA Division III with eight interceptions, establishing himself as one of the nation’s premier defensive playmakers.
Alma senior defensive back Brock Beaudrie earned Second Team Academic All-America® honors. A business management major with an unblemished 4.00 GPA, Beaudrie continued Alma’s strong presence on the national academic stage, pairing elite classroom performance with standout contributions in the secondary.
