MIAA Women’s Basketball Places Four on D3hoops.com All-Region 7 Teams

Four women's basketball players from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) were recognized by D3hoops.com with 2025-26 All-Region 7 honors, highlighted by Albion College junior guard/forward Meghan Trewhella earning First Team recognition.

Players were nominated for the awards by Sports Information Directors from institutions across the country. A total of 797 student-athletes were nominated nationwide before ballots were distributed to select SIDs, who voted for a predetermined number of players within their region. The 2025-26 season marks the 25th year that D3hoops.com has recognized All-Region teams.

Student-athletes named to the All-Region teams are eligible for the D3hoops.com All-America teams, which will be announced March 21 at the national championship game.

Trewhella became the first women’s basketball student-athlete in Albion program history to earn First Team All-Region recognition from D3hoops.com.
