The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) was well represented on the 2026 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Great Lakes All-Region Teams, as four standout student-athletes earned recognition for their exceptional performances throughout the season.
Hope College senior attacker Julia Brown headlined the conference’s honorees with First Team All-Region distinction, while Hope senior midfielder Caleigh Randall, Kalamazoo College senior midfielder Ella Spooner, and Adrian College junior attacker Madeline Turcotte each garnered Second Team accolades.
Brown continued to cement herself as one of the most decorated players in MIAA women’s lacrosse history. She played in all 19 games with 18 starts, totaling 32 goals, eight assists, and 40 points. Defensively and in transition, Randall was equally impactful with 44 ground balls, 25 caused turnovers, and an outstanding 140 draw controls, helping Hope maintain its place among the region’s elite programs.
Kalamazoo’s Ella Spooner earned Second Team All-Region honors after a standout senior campaign that propelled the Hornets to a 10-9 overall record and 5-2 mark in league play. A three-time All-MIAA honoree, Spooner started all 19 games and emerged as one of the conference’s top offensive threats with 69 goals, 25 assists, and 94 points.
