GREENSBORO, N.C. – The University of Olivet's Bryan Carney has been voted to the 2026 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-America First Team. He is believed to be the first baseball player in school history to earn ABCA All-America honors.

The ABCA/Rawlings All-America teams are selected by members of the ABCA All-America committees, with only ABCA/Rawlings All-Region First Team selections eligible for All-America honors.

Carney finished his senior season with a 7-3 record and 1.35 ERA over 73 and one-third innings. He posted a UOlivet single season record 122 strikeouts, while giving up only 17 walks and 41 hits for a miniscule 0.79 WHIP (walks and hits per innings pitched). Carney allowed 13 runs (11 earned) in his 11 starts, with the 11 earned runs occurring in his three losses. His 122 strikeouts and 14.97 strikeouts per nine innings sit first among all NCAA Division III pitchers, and the 0.79 WHIP ranks second and ERA ranks third.

This accolade is just another milestone to add to an impressive resume for Carney during the 2026 season. Earlier today, he was selected to the D3baseball.com All-America First Team. Carney was tabbed the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Pitcher of the Year and an All-MIAA First Team selection. He earned D3baseball.com All-Region 7 First Team honors. Carney was named the ABCA/Rawlings Region VII Pitcher of the Year and named to the ABCA All-Region VII First Team.
