FRISCO, Tex. -- The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) was well represented on the 2025-26 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team, with 30 student-athletes earning one of the sport's highest academic honors.

A total of 1,551 women's collegiate golfers from across all levels of collegiate golf were recognized by the WGCA this year. The prestigious award celebrates student-athletes who have demonstrated excellence both in the classroom and on the course.

The criteria for selection to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team are among the most rigorous in collegiate athletics. To earn the distinction, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, remain an amateur and on their team's roster through the conclusion of the season, and compete in at least 50 percent of their institution's regularly scheduled rounds through the conference championship.

Hope College led all MIAA institutions with eight honorees, followed by Albion College with six and Adrian College and Trine University with five apiece. Kalamazoo College and Saint Mary's College each placed three student-athletes on the national list.
