Four Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) student-athletes have been named to the 2026 D3football.com Preseason All-America Team, earning recognition across three different units as the conference prepares for the upcoming football season.

Adrian College senior guard Joe Pruchnic earned First Team Offense honors, while Adrian senior safety Ethan Burrows was selected to the First Team Defense. Calvin University junior linebacker Carson Schnurstein earned Second Team Defense recognition, and Adrian sophomore punter Cooper Tracy was named to the Second Team Specialists.

Pruchnic returns as one of the MIAA's top offensive linemen after earning Second Team All-America honors from D3football.com in 2025. The senior was also a First Team All-MIAA and First Team All-Region selection last season, helping anchor an Adrian offense that averaged 181.7 rushing yards and 280.2 passing yards per game.

Burrows headlines the defensive selections after a standout 2025 campaign that earned him AFCA First Team All-America honors, Associated Press Second Team All-America recognition and D3football.com Third Team All-America honors. He was also named First Team All-MIAA and D3football.com First Team All-Region.

In 2025, Burrows recorded 46 tackles, including 31 solo stops, along with 6.5 tackles for loss and five pass breakups. He led NCAA Division III with eight interceptions, averaging 0.80 interceptions per game.

Schnurstein enters his junior season following a record-setting 2025 campaign at Calvin. The linebacker established a single-season program record with 115 tackles, including 52 solo tackles and 63 assisted stops. He added 14.5 tackles for loss, six sacks, three interceptions, three forced fumbles, four quarterback hurries and two pass breakups.

Schnurstein was among the NCAA Division III leaders in tackles throughout the 2025 season and earned First Team All-MIAA recognition for his performance.

Tracy rounds out the MIAA selections after an impressive freshman season at Adrian. The sophomore punter was named Second Team All-America by D3football.com, along with First Team All-MIAA and D3football.com First Team All-Region honors in 2025.

Tracy set an Adrian single-season record with an average of 42.96 yards per punt last season. His season included a career-long 62-yard punt, three punts of at least 50 yards and 12 punts placed inside the opponent's 20-yard line.

The 2026 MIAA football season is set to kick off on Thursday, September 3, with conference teams beginning their pursuit of the league championship and another postseason run.
