MIAA Competitors Excel at NCAA DIII Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) had strong representation at the 2025 NCAA Division III Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships, held March 14-15 at the Golisano Training Center in Rochester, New York. Several MIAA athletes delivered impressive performances, earning All-America honors on the national stage.

Hope College’s Sara Schermerhorn led the way with a First Team All-America performance in the 400-meter dash, finishing seventh with a time of 56.48. Schermerhorn also excelled in the 200-meter dash, earning Second Team All-America honors with a ninth-place finish in 24.87.

Calvin University’s Sophie Bull secured Second Team All-America honors in the 5000-meter run, placing 10th with a time of 17:07.71. Additionally, teammate Sydney Radigan competed in the 200-meter dash, finishing 18th with a time of 25.32.

Trine University’s Bailey Puckett also represented America's First Conference on the national stage, competing in the mile and finishing in 18th place with a time of 5:03.45.
