Twenty-Three USTFCCCA All-Region Honors Given to MIAA Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes

NEW ORLEANS, La. -- On May 21, women's outdoor track and field student-athletes from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) received a total of twenty-three All-Region accolades from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Assocation (USTFCCCA).

Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.

Adrian College, Albion College, Calvin University, Hope College, The University of Olivet, and Trine University were all represented by at least one student-athlete on the All-Region list.

Three MIAA student-athletes earned regional recognition in at least two different events, including Adrian freshman Alysia Townsend, Calvin senior Jenna Allman, junior Knights Sophie Bull and Sydney Radigan, and Hope juniors Catherine Leahy and Sara Schermerhorn.

Albion - Tess Anthony (shot put)

Calvin - Jenna Allman (steeplechase, 5,000m run), Sophie Bull (steeplechase, 5,000m run), Sydney Radigan (100m dash, 200m dash), RyAnn Rohrer (discus), Natalie Tebben (800m run)

Hope - Francez Cozzens (4x400m relay), Molly Durow (800m run), Catherine Leahy (400m dash, 4x400m relay), Sara Schermerhorn (200m dash, 400m dash, 4x400m relay), Jasmine Zimmerman (4x400m relay)

Olivet - Emily Norkowski (heptathlon)

Trine - Chloe Goodrich (10,000m run), Bailey Puckett (1,500m run), Sidney Swick (10,000m run)
