FARMINGTON HILL, Mich. -- Calvin University head coach Adam Haldorson has been named the 2025 MIAA Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Coach of the Year after leading the Knights to their first conference championship title since 2017.
In his third season at the helm of the Calvin track and field program, Haldorson guided the Knights to a dominant showing at the MIAA Outdoor Championships. Calvin athletes captured five individual event titles and finished second in 13 individual events, showcasing the team’s depth, competitiveness, and growth across all disciplines.
The championship marks a milestone for the Calvin women’s program, signaling a return to the top of the conference under Haldorson’s leadership. His efforts in developing a balanced and determined roster have earned him well-deserved recognition from his coaching peers.
With the MIAA title secured, Calvin will look to build on its success at a series of last-chance invitationals in the coming weeks. The Knights aim to qualify additional athletes for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, with selections set to be announced on May 16.
The national championships will be held May 22-24 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio, where Haldorson and the Knights hope to carry their championship momentum onto the national stage.
