The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced its 2025 Division III Women’s All-Academic Team and Scholar-Athlete honorees, and the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) once again demonstrated its excellence both on the court and in the classroom.
Five MIAA programs – Albion College, Hope College, Kalamazoo College, Saint Mary’s College, and Trine University – earned ITA All-Academic Team honors. The award recognizes programs with a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or higher for the academic year, with all varsity letter winners included in the calculation.
Individually, 40 MIAA women’s tennis student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, a distinction awarded to players with at least a 3.50 GPA who appear on their school’s eligibility list.
Albion saw seven athletes honored: Lynsey Brearley, Josephine Dunn, Abigail Hubbard, Savannah McDonald, Brenna Staley, Kasish Tank, and Isabella Zarate.
The Flying Dutch led the conference with nine honorees: Miyako Coffey, Makenna Crandell, Kamryn Dumas, Amanda Lopykinski, Sullivan Moran, Hope Rhoades, Kaitlyn Stievater, Phoebe Walker, and Madison Wei.
