FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- The University of Olivet continued its run of conference dominance by capturing the 2026 MIAA Wrestling Championship with a perfect 4-0 record in league competition. The title marks the Comets’ sixth since 2019 and the 16th in program history.

Gideon Loewen (197) and Mason Knight (285) each went 3-0, providing crucial wins in the upper weights throughout the conference slate.
Additional key contributions came from Gabriel Gibbons at 149 pounds and Juwan Vines at 165 pounds, who both posted 3-1 records to help secure the Comets’ unblemished finish.
Behind Olivet in the final standings, Albion College placed second with a 3-1 record, followed by Trine University at 2-2. Adrian College finished fourth at 1-3, while Alma College rounded out the standings at 0-4.
With the conference championship secured, the MIAA programs now turn their focus to postseason competition.
