Hall Elevates Student-Athlete Voice on NCAA Division III Presidents Council

Recent Alma College graduate Holly Hall continues to expand her impact on the national collegiate athletics landscape after being selected to serve as one of two NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representatives on the NCAA Division III Presidents Council January 2026 until January 2027.

Hall, a standout leader throughout her collegiate career, recently completed her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business: Leadership & Management and Business: Sport Management at Alma College. Her appointment to the Presidents Council marks another significant step in a leadership journey defined by advocacy, communication, and dedication to the student-athlete experience.

During her time at Alma, Hall served as president of Alma SAAC, president of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) SAAC, a national SAAC representative, and Communications Director for NCAA DIII SAAC. Although she graduated this spring, Hall will remain on NCAA DIII SAAC through January 2027, allowing her to continue shaping policy and representing student-athletes at the national level.

Hall also excelled as a women’s tennis student-athlete at Alma, where she served as a three-year team captain and demonstrated steady growth throughout her collegiate career. A four-year letterwinner, Hall progressed from competing at No. 3 doubles as a freshman to earning key roles at No. 2 doubles and No. 3 singles during her senior season. Her development on the court mirrored her leadership off it, showcasing her commitment to both athletic and personal excellence while serving as a respected leader within the Scots’ program.

As a representative on the Presidents Council, Hall will serve as a critical voice for Division III student-athletes in institutional decision-making. Her role includes providing insight on policies, campus climate, and the overall student-athlete experience while attending Presidents Council meetings, delivering national SAAC updates, and communicating council developments back to SAAC leadership.

The NCAA Division III Presidents Council serves as the division’s highest governing body, implementing policies adopted by the NCAA Board of Governors, overseeing strategic priorities and budget management, and shaping legislative direction for Division III institutions nationwide. Hall’s presence on the council ensures that student-athlete perspectives remain central to decisions that impact thousands of Division III competitors across the country.

Hall’s selection reflects both her proven leadership within Division III and her commitment to fostering positive change for current and future student-athletes.

“I am incredibly honored and excited to serve on the Division III Presidents Council as a Division III SAAC representative!" Hall commented. "This opportunity allows me to further use my student-athlete voice and experiences to represent Division III student-athletes in meaningful conversations with Division III presidents, chancellors, and national leaders. Having a seat at the table in Division III’s highest governing body is an opportunity I do not take lightly, and I look forward to continuing to advocate for student-athletes through Presidents Council.”

This fall, Hall will begin the next chapter of her academic and professional journey at Ohio University, where she will pursue an MBA/MSA Dual Degree program with an anticipated graduation in Spring 2028.

Through every stage of her career—from campus leadership at Alma to national governance—Hall has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to advocacy, collaboration, and excellence. Her appointment to the Presidents Council further solidifies her reputation as a powerful leader and trusted representative for Division III student-athletes nationwide.
