NORMAN, Okla. -- Three Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) men's golf programs were recognized for their academic achievements as part of the 2025-26 Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Team Academic Awards.

A GCAA-record 333 schools across six divisions earned the 2025-26 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award, recognizing programs that excelled in the classroom while competing at the collegiate level.

The MIAA was represented by Adrian College and Kalamazoo College, both of which earned the PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award for their team's academic performance during the 2025-26 academic year.

In addition, Hope College earned Presidents Special Recognition, a distinction reserved for teams that achieved an average team GPA of 3.5 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year. Hope was among just 157 schools across all six divisions to receive the special recognition.

The GCAA's annual academic awards highlight the commitment of student-athletes achieving excellence both on the course and in the classroom. The recognition of three MIAA programs continues a strong tradition of academic achievement throughout the conference.
