?ALBION, Mich. – For the first time in three seasons, an Albion women's basketball player has been named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week.
Meghan Trewhella received the honor after back-to-back 20-point games in wins over Anderson and Earlham at Earlham's Hope Classic.
Against Anderson, the junior notched 22 points, five rebounds and three steals and followed it up with a 29-point, nine-rebound performance vs. Earlham.
The Britons have started the season 5-0 for the first time since 2019-20.
Earlier in the season, Trewhella received MIAA Player of the Week honors for the first time in her career after 16 and 35-point performances against Hiram and Concordia Chicago, respectively.
Trewhella is the first Briton to earn a spot on the D3hoops.com Team of the Week since Daniah Beavers did so in Week 8 of the 2022-23 season.
