Three MIAA Standouts Earn USILA All-America Honorable Mention Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) was well represented in the 2025 USILA Division III Men’s Lacrosse All-America honors, as three student-athletes were named Honorable Mention selections on May 22.

Adrian College’s Michael Jonas and Cameron Reed, along with Hope College’s Owen Mueller, earned national recognition for their standout performances this season. Each honoree was nominated by their head coach and selected by votes from the USILA All-America Committee.

Michael Jonas – Attack, Adrian College
A dominant offensive force, senior Michael Jonas capped off a record-setting career with one of the most prolific seasons in Adrian College history. Leading the Bulldogs to an 11-7 overall mark and a 5-1 finish in league play, Jonas was named the 2025 MIAA Offensive Player of the Year. A three-time All-MIAA selection, Jonas recorded career-highs across the board with 67 goals, 45 assists, and 112 points, finishing among the top-five and top-ten in multiple NCAA Division III statistical categories. Averaging 6.22 points per game over 18 contests, he set a new program record for single-game points with 12 in a March 29 matchup against Illinois Wesleyan. Jonas ends his tenure holding 13 different individual records for the Bulldogs.

Owen Mueller – Short Stick Defensive Midfield, Hope College
Senior Owen Mueller served as a cornerstone of Hope College’s defensive unit, helping lead the Flying Dutchmen to an undefeated 6-0 league record and the MIAA regular-season title. A two-time First Team All-MIAA selection, Mueller’s impact extended well beyond the stat sheet. He recorded 32 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers in 2025, consistently disrupting opposing offenses with his speed, physicality, and field awareness. His leadership and consistency played a pivotal role in Hope’s 11-5 overall finish.

Cameron Reed – Defense, Adrian College
Widely regarded as one of the premier defenders in the nation, senior Cameron Reed anchored the Bulldogs’ back line and was named the 2025 MIAA Defensive Player of the Year. A four-time All-MIAA honoree, Reed etched his name into both school and national record books. He set Adrian’s program records for career (182) and single-season (55) caused turnovers, and his 3.06 caused turnovers per game in 2025 marked a new single-season standard for the Bulldogs. Reed also cracked the top-ten all-time in NCAA Division III history for career caused turnovers, underscoring his sustained excellence on the field.

These three All-America honorees exemplify the strength of MIAA lacrosse and reflect the dedication, talent, and hard work that define the conference’s student-athletes.
