ADRIAN, Mich. -- Adrian College baseball continued its remarkable postseason dominance by winning the 2026 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Baseball Tournament Presented by Collegiate Credit Union, securing its fourth-consecutive tournament championship and 12th overall in program history.
After earning the tournament’s top seed by capturing the regular-season title with a 16-5 conference record, the Bulldogs once again proved themselves as the conference’s premier program with three hard-fought postseason victories.
Adrian opened tournament play with a dramatic 5-4 victory over Albion College in 10 innings. Sean Parker delivered a standout performance on the mound, earning the win after pitching 5.1 scoreless innings while striking out five batters.
The Bulldogs began their comeback in the seventh inning when Casey Finn scored Adrian’s first run, followed by Jake Burns. Jaxon McGuigan added another run in the eighth before Rolando Jimenez delivered the game-tying run in the ninth to knot the score at 4-4. In the 10th inning, Gavino Gomez crossed home plate with the game-winning run, completing Adrian’s thrilling comeback.
In the matchup against Kalamazoo College, Adrian relied on another exceptional pitching performance to secure a 2-1 victory. Parker Faris threw a complete game, striking out four batters while limiting Kalamazoo’s offense throughout the contest.
Nic Bruder scored the Bulldogs’ first run in the opening inning, and McGuigan once again delivered in a clutch moment by scoring the game-winning run in the top of the eighth inning.
In the championship game against Alma Colelge, Adrian’s offense erupted early and never looked back, earning an 8-3 victory to secure the tournament title.
The Bulldogs scored five runs in the first inning to immediately seize control. Landon Kozlowski earned the win on the mound, totaling three strikeouts. Gabe Jones added a run in the fourth inning, while Cam Oliver scored in the fifth to help seal the championship.
